What is a toy anyhow?

With Christmas and Birthdays coming up this question seems relevent... V and M seem to enjoy handles, chairs and boxes as much or more than anything that was officially sold as a toy. Should we just get them random things at the hardware store for gifts? Well... maybe not completely random... we'll make sure to get the nail gun that has been recommended by the Board of Pediatricians.

Daycare

Madeleine and Veronica don't always enjoy bundling up to go to daycare... but they seem to have fun once they get there:

Veronica was very excited for her first plane ride (so excited in fact... she didn't sleep a wink on the plane.

'Ronica and Maddie flex to Austin, Texas this past weekend to attend Karen and Randy's wedding. The flight and the wedding were both very exciting!

E & Charla came over to celebrate Maddie Bee and Veronica Puppy's first Halloween!

As it was our first Halloween in SLP, Eoin kept close count of how many Trick or Treaters we had (27), so we'd know how many bags of candy to buy to ensure leftovers in future years!

Heidi rocked the YWCA triathlon... complete with her own cheering squad.













Maddie wants to do her own tri.







Usually one of us is behind the camera, so it is nice to have a family picture... relaxing (as much as we can with twins) at the lake.








We had fun at the State Fair. Veronica seemed to like the goats.

Had to lower the mattress in the crib! No one seems to mind (though our backs are sore from putting heavy babies to bed).

Bathtime in the tub seems to be a hit! (It took a lot of effort to avoid a splash pun).
